Chongqing North Railway Station (the former Longtousi Railway Station) is one of the major railway hubs in China, mainly serving for the high-speed trains (C, D, G trains). From here, passengers can reach Xian in the north, Lanzhou in the northwest, Chengdu in the west, Huaihua, Changsha, Guangzhou in the south and Yichang, Wuhan, Shanghai in the east. The station is also transport center of Chongqing city integrating railway, subway line, long-distance and public bus.

1. Chongqing North Railway Station has two squares which are now connected by covered passages. Paying attention to the boarding info before arriving the station may save you time. Because the north square is nearer to the boarding gate of high-speed trains (C, D, G trains) and south square is mainly for the slow trains (K, T, Z trains).

2. The North Square of the Station has a total of 6 floors, of which 5 are underground:

The Ground Floor: Entrance Hall, Ticket Office, Waiting Room, Public Bus Station.

B1: Train Platform, Bus Transfer Channel, Bus Station Waiting Hall, Private car and Taxi drop-off area.

B2: Private car and Taxi Drop-off Area.

B3: Passenger Exit, Corridor leading to the South Square.

B4: Chongqing Rail Transit No.10.

B5: Chongqing Rail Transit No.4.

3. At the transit center, you will find transport to some major points of the Chongqing city:

Metro line 3 from south square leads to Terminal T2 of Chongqing Jiangbei Intl Airport.

Metro line 10 from the North Square Station reaches Terminal T2/T3 of Chongqing Jiangbei Intl Airport.

Bus 439 from south square reach Chongqing Railway Station.

Bus G02 from the North Square Station reach Chongqing West Railway Station (10:00-20:00).

Bus 473 from the South Square Station reach Chongqing West Railway Station (06:00-22:00).

4. There are also trains connecting the two railway stations of Chongqing city (Chongqing North and Chongqing West Railway Station) for about 25mins journey.
