Changzhou Railway Station is a major point of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway which was constructed as the world’s longest, fastest intercity rail line by 2011. Changzhou station has undergone several renovations and expansions to meet the highest service standards. By 2019, two squares were put into use and that increases the capacity of the station. Most of the high-speed trains running between Shanghai and Nanjing stops at Changzhou, making this city conveniently reachable to and from Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Beijing, etc.
1. The south building serves the slow trains (K, T, Z trains). North building serves the high-speed trains (D, G trains). The two buildings are connected by covered passages.
2. To the north of the station is Changzhou Long-distance Bus Station. More than 200 buses are operated daily to Anhui, Henan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Shandong, Hubei, Shanghai provinces and nearly 140 cities in Jiangsu province every day.
3. There are frequently local public buses (Bus No.1,28,1,18,14,16,19,20,38,39,77,203,212,219, B13) from and to Changzhou Railway Station.
4. The station also offers other services like "Changyue 580" in the waiting room to help for ticket reservation, transfer booking, assistance for the disabled people, lost and found services.
