Their itinerary included Beijing, Xi'an, Zhangjiajie, Chongqing, a Yangtze River Cruise, and Shanghai, allowing them to experience China's rich history, spectacular natural landscapes, vibrant modern cities, and the world-famous Three Gorges.

Before the tour began, we created a dedicated WeChat group that included our guests, our operations team, and the local guides. Throughout the trip, this group became the central communication channel, allowing everyone to stay connected in real time.

This simple but effective communication made the entire journey smooth and stress-free. Any questions were answered promptly, and any small adjustments could be handled immediately, giving our guests peace of mind while traveling across multiple cities.

We were especially pleased to hear that our guests were very satisfied with their local guides. Their professionalism, extensive knowledge, friendly personalities, and attentive service helped bring each destination to life—from the imperial history of Beijing and Xi'an, to the breathtaking scenery of Zhangjiajie, the unique atmosphere of Chongqing, the relaxing Yangtze River Cruise, and the vibrant skyline of Shanghai.

Our old friend and guests traveled through Shanghai, Wangxiangu, Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Chengdu, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Xi'an, Pingyao, Datong, and Beijing, experiencing an incredible journey across some of China's most iconic destinations. Once again, we worked closely together to plan and successfully complete another unforgettable journey.

In Xi'an, arranged a traditional Tang Dynasty costume photoshoot for guests interested in photography and local culture. The experience allowed them to step back in time and capture unforgettable moments in one of China's most historic cities.

The Tang-style costumes matched our guests surprisingly well, creating elegant and authentic-looking photos.

We recently had the pleasure of assisting a group of 40 international guests on an unforgettable journey across China, visiting Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Zhangjiajie, and Guilin-Yangshuo.

In this video, we share highlights from their Yangshuo countryside tour, where guests enjoyed spectacular landscapes, charming villages, and the unique beauty of rural Guilin.

Throughout the journey, our team worked closely with guides, drivers, hotels, and local suppliers to ensure smooth transfers, punctual service, and a comfortable travel experience for every guest.

Effective, efficient arrangements. Responsive. Wonderful experience.

We had a most wonderful experience using Etrip to book our private guided 10-day tour to Kunming-Dali-Shangrila-Lijiang. There were four of us in the group, with one elderly. Etrip was responsive and thorough in planning the itinerary and making changes per our request. All tourist site and train tickets, car charter/driver, guides and part of the hotels was booked through them. I had communicated with Niki from Etrip in English and had no issues with our communication whatsoever.

We had two different drivers and three guides throughout the trip. The drivers were very careful in driving, car was comfortable, and they took a lot of care to help us with our luggage and various hotel liaison. As some of our hotels were located within the ancient towns and not accessible by vehicle, the guides and drivers actually made the effort to double check our hotel bookings and locations and liaised with the relevant hotels to arrange for help with getting our luggage into the hotels. Note that this was despite the fact that we had done the hotel booking ourselves. One of the drivers, Mr Na, was impressive in his knowledge of Chinese history and could avail us with a lot of background and general knowledge of Yunnan and China. Mr Zhang, our other driver, was very careful and ensured we were comfortable and not suffering from altitude sickness as he drove us towards Shangrila.

Two of our guides deserve special mention, Mr Zhao and Ms Sarah. Both spoke fluent English. Mr Zhao was full of knowledge of the history of the various places we visited in Dali, followed us all the way through to Shangrila to hand us over to our Shangrila guide to ensure we wouldn’t run into any issues (and missing his train to go back to Dali), ensured we could could eat the food at various meals.

Ms Sarah was very warm and helpful. As we had an elderly with the group, she ensured the elderly was taken good care of the whole way (as she wasn’t able to walk far). She was very proactive in finding shortcuts and helping us get the elderly onto electric trams without long walks or queues. She was able to give us a good taste of local life as a Tibetan through her own personal experience. At various tourist sites, she was able to guide us through the crowds efficiently. Even at the last point when bringing us to the train station for our train ride back to Kunming from Lijiang, she ensured we were in the right queue and got us checked through by security before running off to catch her own train back home.

We had an excellent time during this trip. Niki from Etrip ensured we were okay with everything throughout the trip, checking in on us and making sure our drivers and guides were in contact with us at various points of the journey.

Lastly, I want to add that this is the second time I have used Etrip to help with my travels in China. The first time was in October 2024 when I had requested their help with booking a car charter to Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou, buying the entrance tickets at the relevant sights, and train tickets to and from Chengdu-Huanglong Jiuzhai station. The whole arrangement was done efficiently and smoothly. We had no issues whatsoever. The driver we had was also great.

I would highly recommend using Etrip to help arrange your travels to China. I would certainly use them again for any of my future travels there!

An unforgettable experience

Li is the one in charge of all tourists, and she couldn’t have given us a better itinerary, better hotels, or better guides. A special mention to Raven, who was always attentive to the whole group and always with a smile.

Everything was perfectly organized down to the last detail: amazing hotels very close to the places we were visiting, all transfers coordinated with no waiting time. If I return to China — because we still have so much left to see — I won’t even think twice. Travel in China will be my agency again.

Thank you, Li, for showing us this country that has surprised and amazed us so much. Every day was more beautiful than the previous one, and I assure you the bar was already set very high.
