How to Plan Guangzhou Tours

How much time do you have in Guangzhou?

One full day spared from your business, or one day transit in Guangzhou, look for something from our day trip list covering some of the major historical sites like Dr.Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall,Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Lychee bay, or the modern landmarks including Canton Tower, Pearl River Cruise.

 

If you have 4-5 days, consider a side trip to neighboring cities like Zhaoqing, Kaiping, Shenzhen, Zhuhai or Zhongshan, or even go further to Macau and Hong Kong.
A kind note: Double entry visa is required if will be back to mainland China from Hong Kong or Macau. 


When do you want to travel?

Located at the south China, Guangzhou has a sub-tropical climate, long and hot summer, cool but not cold winter. It is suitable to travel all year around.


What kind of accommodation do you prefer?

Hotel choices in Guangzhou are many, and cost vary a lot from three star to the luxury brands. Prices go high during the period of Canton Fair especially those siting near the meeting center.

How to get to Guangzhou?

Guangzhou is a transport hub in south China. It is easy to get into Guangzhou from all major cities worldwide. Many airlines provide cheaper tickets to Guangzhou than Hong Kong. The city is well connected with all domestic major cities. It is one of the few cities offering regular flight to Lhasa, Tibet, Zhangjiajie, Yellow Mountain and Jiuzhai valley and many small cities. Bullet train ride to other cities is super convenient.
