Detail Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Huangshan & Visit Hongcun Village
Transportation: Car
Meals: Lunch

Meet your guide at Huangshan High-Speed Railway Station and drive to Yi County to visit Hongcun Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its Hui-style architecture, water systems, and picturesque rural scenery.
Overnight in Huangshan City.

Day 2 – Yellow Mountain Scenic Area (Cable Car Up)
Transportation: Car
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Drive to Yellow Mountain Scenic Area. Take the Yungu Cable Car up to the mountain and begin sightseeing on the summit, enjoying iconic granite peaks, ancient pines, and panoramic views.
Overnight on the mountain top.


 

Day 3 – Sunrise, Yellow Mountain & Tunxi Old Street
Transportation: Car
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Get up early to watch the sunrise if weather permits. Continue exploring highlights on the mountain before taking the cable car down. In the afternoon, visit Tunxi Old Street, a well-preserved Huizhou-style street with shops, teahouses, and local snacks.

Day 4 – Huangling Village → Jingdezhen → Taoxichuan
Transportation: Car
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

In the morning, travel to Huangling Village, known for its terraced landscapes and traditional villages set on mountain slopes. In the afternoon, drive to Jingdezhen, China's "Porcelain Capital,"  and visit Taoxichuan Creative & Cultural District, a vibrant area blending ceramic art, studios, and cafés.
Overnight in Jingdezhen.

 


 

Day 5 – Jingdezhen Ceramic Heritage Tour
Transportation: Car
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Visit the China Ceramic Museum, followed by the Ancient Kiln Folk Expo Area to learn about traditional porcelain-making techniques. Continue to the Imperial Kiln (Yu Kiln) site, which once produced ceramics exclusively for the imperial court.
Overnight in Jingdezhen.


 

Day 6 – Ceramic Market & Wangxian Valley
Transportation: Car
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Explore the Jingdezhen Ceramic Free Market, where local artists sell handmade pottery and porcelain. In the afternoon, drive to Wangxian Valley, a dramatic cliffside landscape known for its fairy-tale scenery, wooden walkways, and evening views.

l  Moderate activity: Huangshan includes hiking on mountain trails and stairs. Wangxian Valley involves walking along cliffside paths and village streets. Most travelers with normal fitness can manage comfortably.

l  Optional strenuous sections: Energetic travelers can explore deeper areas of West Sea Grand Canyon (Huangshan) or trails in Wangxian Valley.

l  Cable cars: Used on Huangshan to reduce physical strain. Walking in villages is flat and easy.

 

Weather & Seasonal Considerations

l  Huangshan: Cooler at higher elevations, foggy and changeable weather; rain possible year-round. Best visited April - May or September - October.

l  Jingdezhen: Summers are hot and humid; winters are mild but can be damp. Spring and autumn are most comfortable.

l  Wangxian Valley: Mountainous microclimate; mornings can be misty. Bring layered clothing and rain protection.
