Afterwards we trek down 600 meters into the West Sea Grand Canyon, from Cloud Dispelling Pavilion to the sightseeing monorail at the bottom. The views of the Grand Canyon are breath taking with deep valleys, steep cliffs, magic mist, fog and cloud, compelling visitors to stop every few steps to snap photos. The downwards trail takes around 3 hours for standard groups, we will slow down the pace to explore and capture images.

To save energy, we will take the monorail (5 minutes) up to the station near Baiyun hotel. Later in the day after lunch, continue a walk to Buxian Bridge to enjoy beautiful scenery on other side of West Sea Grand Canyon (Xihai). Back to the hotel area two hours later to catch up a sunset at Bright Top.

Stay in a 300-year building but modernized and comfortable bedroom is a unique experience itself.

Day 5 Huangshan - villages of Hongcun, Mukeng and Nanping

The well-preserved villages and Hui-style architectures are very significant parts of Hui Culture. Their grey-lined tiers and white-walled houses with mountains as backdrop are the most typical scene that you can enjoy from traditional Chinese paintings. Besides, the exquisite homes, ancestral halls and memorial archways also draw your attention when step into the villages. We will visit Hongcun, a world heritage sites, Mukeng and Manping villages, less popular but allows you tranquility and close touch to the real life and local custom.

Day 6 Mulihong Village and departure

We will take a trip around Mulihong. Mulihong is a small village deeply hidden in the mountains of Xiuning county. Overlooking from the above, it is like an island with only one side connecting to the mountain range. Typical Hui-style architectures stands on the ridge, surrounded by green bamboo. Fog and cloud stay here more than 100 days during a year, making it’s a village above the clouds.
