After breakfast, we meet at your hotel lobby and start our day discovery of Huizhou culture. Our destination today is the Huizhou Ancient City that the Huizhou culture originates. The town is well preserved to its former glory with cluster of grey-tiled and white-walled houses, exquisite homes, ancestral halls and memorial archways.
Huizhou culture is one of the three regional cultures in China, featuring its distinctive cuisine, forms of drama, carvings, architectures and inscriptions, etc. We will walk into the winding Doushan Street, step inside some of the ancient villas, pass beneath Xu Guo Stone Arch, up to the imposing city wall and take views over the beautiful rooftops.
Lunch will be at local restaurant to taste the Huizhou cuisine. When tour ends, back to Huangshan city or drop you off at the railway station for train to next destination.
