Day 1: Arrive in Huangshan City & Explore the Eastern Section of Yellow Mountain

Upon arrival in Huangshan City, your guide will greet you and transfer you directly to the Yellow Mountain Scenic Area. Take the Yungu Cable Car up to the mountain.
Before checking in at your mountain-top hotel, enjoy short hikes to several iconic viewpoints in the eastern part of the park, including Beginning-to-Believe Peak, Black Tiger Pine, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and Lion Peak - perfect spots for classic Huangshan photos.
Check in at your hotel on Yellow Mountain and enjoy free time to admire the mountain scenery.

Day 2: Yellow Mountain → West Sea Grand Canyon → Hongcun Village

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sea of Clouds (weather permitting), with excellent viewpoints at Lion Peak or Danxia Peak.
After breakfast, continue exploring Yellow Mountain. Depending on your physical condition and weather, you may:

Hike into the West Sea Grand Canyon for a dramatic sky-walk experience
The First Ring Route of the West Sea Grand Canyon (about 3 km) is highly recommended and offers breathtaking scenery, with photo opportunities at almost every turn. For energetic travelers, you can continue further down into the canyon.
Return to the hotel for lunch, then descend the mountain by cable car. Transfer by private vehicle to Hongcun Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous Hui-style villages in the region. Hongcun is beloved by painters, photographers, and art students for its picturesque layout and traditional architecture.

Day 3: Nanping Village & Departure

After breakfast, take a short drive to Nanping Village, a lesser-visited ancient village known for its well-preserved residences and ancestral halls. Its quiet atmosphere offers a deeper look into traditional Huizhou village life.
Today's highlight is a local life experience inspired by rural lifestyle videos such as those by Li Ziqi. Visit local fields to pick vegetables and cook together with a village family.
In the afternoon, learn the traditional craft of bamboo weaving from local elder artisans. These handmade items - such as baskets, mats, and daily household tools - reflect skills passed down through generations.
After the experience, transfer to the railway station for your onward journey.

a) Yellow Mountain tour involves in short hikes on the mountain with many stairs. Prepare hiking shoes for rocky trails, sunglasses, raincoat (depends), gloves, trekking pole (depends).
b) Mountain weather can change dramatically in short period and temperature vary a lot in the morning and noon hours even in the summer. Our travel advisor will give you more detailed suggestions according to your travel date.
c) Yellow mountain is open all year around except severe weather condition. But we would strongly suggest you avoiding the public holidays like (May 1st to 7th, Oct 1st to 7th).
