Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Hong Kong

Our English-speaking guide will greet you at airport according to your landing time. Look for a sign of your name out of the luggage claim area (if not specific). Transfer to hotel and check in.


Day 2 Hong Kong – Aberdeen, Repulse Bay, Victoria Peak

Tour starts from a pickup at your hotel. Then head to the famous fishing village of Aberdeen. The traditions here are well-kept as you find the hundreds of junks and sampans, old-fashioned boats crowded in the narrow harbor, though numerous new buildings spring up. You can take an optional sampan tour for a close view of waterborne life.


Next is a picturesque visit of Repulse Bay boasting a long beach, soft sand, clear blue water and warm temperature. It is a great place for locals and visitors alike to escape the heat. 

A journey to Hong Kong is not complete without experiencing Victoria Peak. It is the most famous place in the region and perfect spot to take in harbor view, Kowloon Island and other small islets in the south. The peak is easy to reach via road, foot path and a very classic way of tram ride (optional).

Day 3 Hong Kong to Guilin (bullet train)

Transfer to Kowloon West for train to Guilin (Train No. G408 Dep 12:05 - Arr 15:25). On arrival, meet and transfer to hotel.


Day 4 Guilin - Longji Rice Terraces Field

After an early breakfast, we drive about 1.5 hour to Longji Scenic Area which covers several villages featuring terraces fields. Since Yuan Dynasty, people here began to construct the fields innovative on the mountains. Now, the existing paddy fields covers an area of 66 square kilometers. Local People still grows the rice and the whole rice terrace fields take on green color in Jun and August, and become yellow layer of rip rice in late Sep and Oct. And that was always considered as the most beautiful scenes. However, we are sure the fields are impressive at any time. The cascading terraces are astonishing when covered with snow in winter or filled with water in Spring. 

We will spend 4-5 hours in Ping’an village to have home visit and take pictures of the typical wooden architectures. Continue a walk for about 20 minutes onto the top of the hill to have panoramic view of the Terraces Fields. Start the drive back around 3:30pm.

Day 5 Guilin to Yangshuo - Li River Cruise, Yangshuo Countryside Visit

We start from hotel around 8:15am to Mopanshan cruise pier and board the newly decorated 3-star ship for a 4-5 hours journey on the Li River. Guide will accompany you for the whole journey, sharing you interesting legends of the hills, villages alongside, and helping to shot with the picturesque scenery.
We reach Yangshuo around 2pm. If weather permits, we will immerse in the countryside beauty along the Yulong River which is reputed as the “Little Li River” for its enchanting natural landscape of “Karst” mountains. The best way for the trip is biking, hiking or taking battery car as no private motor vehicles are allowed into the scenic area. 

Evening hours is free on your own or enjoy an optional show – Impression Liu Sanjie.


Day 6 Guilin to Chengdu (flight) – Xianggong Hill, Reed Flute Cave

Back to Guilin to take evening flight to Chengdu. To fulfill the time today, enjoy visit of Xianggong Hill and Reed Flute Cave. Xianggong hill is a small karst hill on the west bank of Li River in Yangshuo area, making a great base to take a panoramic view of the hills and the bend of Li River. Another sight is Reed Flute Cave in the suburb of Guilin, which is a natural limestone cave, with large number of stalactites, stalagmites, rock formations and aged inscriptions inside.

Day 7 Chengdu - Leshan Giant Buddha, Jinli Old Street, Chengdu People's Park

We first drive almost two hours south to Leshan Giant Buddha. It is the largest stone Buddha in the world carved out of a cliff at the confluences of the three big rivers near Leshan, Sichuan, China. The statue is 71 meters tall, sitting with hands resting on his knees. We will either walk down from the head or take a boat to appreciate it from river.


Back to the city after lunch. Spend leisure afternoon like locals, we take a walk to the People’s Park which is a very typical and important entertainment park located in the west of Chengdu. The next stop is Jinli Street, a charming area restored from an old street with full of souvenir shops, wine bars, teahouses and snack stalls. Transfer back to hotel when tour ends.

Day 8 Chengdu – Xian

Meet the cute creature at Panda Breeding and Research Center which is a semi-jungle conservation in the suburb of Chengdu. It focuses on increasing the population of giant pandas and eventually release some of the them back into the wild. Besides, the base is also home to many other endangered animals.

Take afternoon train (Train No. G2210 Dep 15:30 - Arr 19:28) to Xian. Enjoy a guided transfer to hotel.


Day 9 Xian - Terracotta Army, Pottery making experience and brief visit of Big Wild Goose Pagoda

A day of Terracotta Army, Pottery making experience and brief visit of Big Wild Goose Pagoda: After breakfast, we meet at hotel lobby around 8:30am and visit the most popular site in Xian today. The Terracotta Army is large number of figures buried 2km in front of the Emperor Qinshihuang's Tomb in east of Xian. In 1979, local farmers discovered this site and surprised the whole world. Now in the museum, visitors can view 1,868 unearthed terracotta warriors and chariots that have been restored to their former glory as well as a digging site where the craftsman restoring the broken pieces. As part of the park, we will also pay a brief stop at Qinshihuang’s Tomb. 


Lunch will be at cave house nearby. The traditional cave dwellings are rare to see in this area now. We can also experience pottery making here. With the instruction of potters working there, you can create your own Terracotta figures. It takes around 40 minutes from start to finish. 


Later, we drive back to the city and have a brief stop at Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an important Buddhist structure of Xian city. If lucky, it is possible to see a music fountain show at the front square.


Day 10 Xian to Luoyang - Muslim Street, Great Mosque, Gao Family Courtyard

Today we pay a visit to the central parts that is circled by the Ancient City Wall. Walk through the Muslim Street, which is a must-see place for Xian tour. It consists of a couple of streets and home to more than 60 thousand Hui Minority people. The street is well known for diverse food, ancient architectures, traditional mosques and rich culture of Hui People. 

The Great Mosque hidden in the street is a perfect mixture of Islamic and Chinese architecture styles with seating for 1,000 worshipers.

Another gem is the Gao Family Courtyard. It is the 400-year old courtyard has 86 rooms and of which 56 rooms are open to the public displaying calligraphy and paintings of celebrities, old photos, porcelains and tourist souvenirs. The shadow play performed here is another surprise for visitors.

Take afternoon train (No. G1888 Dep 15:20 - Arr 16:53) to Luoyang and stay overnight in Luoyang city.

Day 11 Luoyang - Longmen Grottoes, Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest

Luoyang was important city as capital of nine dynasties and Buddhis center. Longmen Grottoes is one of the magnificent historic relics. There are total of 2,100 cave-temples housing 3,600 stone inscriptions and over 100,000 large and small Buddhist statues. What a great artwork it is!


Another site that you cannot miss is Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest where the martial arts and kung fu originate. The temple is located at Dengfeng city, 1.5 hours away from Luoyang. We will visit Shaolin Temple, the Pagoda Forest and a Kung Fu Show performed by monks. And also try Kung Fu learning for one or two hours to cater for your curiosity.


Day 12 Luoyang to Beijing

Take morning train northwards and arrive Beijing 4 hours later. Start your journey in Beijing with a renowned garden, Summer Palace. With a history of nearly 1000 years, Summer Palace in Beijing is said to be the best-preserved imperial garden in the world and the largest of its kind in existence of China. It consists of natural hills, lake, and over 3000 man-made pavilions, palaces, temples, bridges and corridors. It is quite enjoyable to have a relaxing stroll, a boat cruise or discover the aged architectures.


Day 13 Beijing- A day of Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park and Temple of Heaven

After breakfast, depart to Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city square. We will have a brief stop here and photograph some national iconic structures including Monument to the People’s heroes, Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, etc. Many visitors come very early for the spectacular flag-raising ceremony (not included in). To the north of the square is the South Gate of the Forbidden City where we will spend the next 2.5-3 hours. Forbidden City is 600 years old in 2020. It has the largest and best-preserved collections of ancient architectures with more than 900 rooms in the palace. Out of the Forbidden City from its north gate, we continue a short visit Jingshan Park right on the other side of the road. Located on the axis of the inner city, the park offers good panoramic view of Forbidden City and other historic sites like the Bell and Drum Tower, Beihai park, etc.


We have a long walk this morning. Refresh ourselves and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, head to the World Heritage Park- Temple of Heaven which was built for worship and pray for harvest. Architectures in the park are outstanding representatives of ancient Chinese art.

Day 14 Beijing - Mutianyu Great Wall and Olympic Park

“Not reach the Great Wall not a true man” is a common Chinese saying. The Great Wall visit is part of the highlights in Beijing. We meet at your hotel at 8:30am, and head northeast to Mutianyu Great Wall. This section of the wall ranks number one among all sections on TripAdvisor list with beautiful-restored architectures but less tourists. Round trip cable car is included to save energy and enjoy a fun walk on the top. On the way back, we drive passing the Olympic Park and photograph the new landmark of Bird Nest and Water Cube.


Day 15 Depart Beijing

Transfer to the airport/train station for your transport home.
