Since the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, road travel between Hong Kong Airport and Zhuhai Central now takes only 1 to 1.5 hours.

What You Need to Know Before Booking

Is a China visa necessary?
Please refer to the China visa exemption policy. If none of the exemption categories apply to you, you will need to apply for a China visa in advance, or obtain an Economic Special Zone Tourist Visa, which allows a 3-day visit to the Zhuhai area. This visa is available to visitors from most countries.

What vehicle types are available?
Currently, only a limited number of 7-seater Toyota Alphards and 45/53-seat coaches are licensed for cross-border service between Hong Kong and Zhuhai. These vehicles hold special dual-plate permits required for cross-border travel.

There are also a very limited number of 8-seater Alphard vans available. The vehicle size is the same as the 7-seater model. It is only suitable for groups of 7 people who do not wish to increase their budget and have no more than 4 pieces of 24-inch luggage.

How do I meet the driver?

• Airport Pickup: The Alphard transfer is scheduled according to your actual landing time. The      driver will meet you in the arrival hall, just outside the baggage claim area, holding a sign with your name.

• Hotel/Private Address Pickup: The driver will arrive at the appointed time. Please stay in contact with us via WeChat or WhatsApp, as most hotels in Hong Kong only allow temporary pick-up/drop-off.

  
  

What is the luggage allowance?
The 7-seater Toyota Alphard can accommodate:

• 6 pieces of 22" luggage, or

• 4 pieces of 24" luggage, or

• 2 pieces of 28" luggage (when fully occupied with 6 passengers)

How many passengers can ride?
The Toyota Alphard accommodates up to 6 passengers, including infants.
Note: Pregnant women are not permitted to travel in Alphard vans due to immigration regulations.

Is there an immigration check?
Yes. Immigration clearance is required at both Hong Kong Port and Zhuhai Port.
Traveling in an Alphard van, passengers will disembark once at the border for customs clearance with all luggage. The driver will drop you at the entrance of the immigration building and meet you again at the exit.

Will there be a language barrier?
Our drivers speak Mandarin and Cantonese. An English-speaking staff member will coordinate your transfer from start to finish. If needed, an English-speaking driver can be arranged with advance booking (extra charge applies).
