What You Need to Know Before Booking

Is a China visa necessary?

Please refer to the China visa exemption policy. If none of the exemption categories apply to you, you will need to apply for a China visa in advance, or obtain an Economic Special Zone Tourist Visa, which allows a 5-day visit to the Shenzhen area and is available to visitors from all countries.

What vehicle types are available?

Currently, only a limited number of 7-seater Toyota Alphards and 45/53-seat coaches are licensed for cross-border service between Hong Kong and mainland China. These vehicles have special dual-plate permits required for cross-border operation.

How do I meet the driver?

Airport Pickup: The Alphard transfer is arranged according to your actual landing time. The driver will meet you in the arrival hall, right outside the baggage claim area.
Hotel/Private Address Pickup: The driver will arrive at the appointed time. Please stay in contact with us via WeChat or WhatsApp, as most hotels in Hong Kong only allow temporary pick-up/drop-off.

What is the luggage allowance?

The 7-seater Toyota Alphard can accommodate:

·       6 pieces of 22-inch luggage, or

·       4 pieces of 24-inch luggage, or

·       2 pieces of 28-inch luggage (when fully occupied with 6 passengers)

How many passengers can ride?

The Toyota Alphard allows a maximum of 6 passengers, including infants.
Note: Pregnant women are not permitted to travel in Alphard vans, in accordance with immigration regulations.

Is there an immigration check?

Yes. Immigration clearance is required at both Hong Kong Port and Shenzhen Port.
When traveling in an Alphard van, passengers only need to disembark once at Shenzhen Port for customs inspection, along with all luggage.

Will there be a language barrier?

Our drivers speak Mandarin and Cantonese. An English-speaking staff member will oversee the transfer from pick-up to drop-off.
If needed, an English-speaking driver can be arranged at extra cost with advance booking.
