When visiting Beijing Zoo, you should not miss the Panda Star: MengLan. Meng Lan is a beloved panda known for his playful demeanor and charming personality. He captivates visitors with his adorable antics, whether he's swinging on the swing, climbing trees, or enjoying his favorite treats.

Tips:
1. The time Meng Lan comes out is determined by himself. Meng Lan is usually most active between 9 to 10 o'clock, but he may not necessarily follow this schedule. Sometimes he may go to sleep even after 9 o'clock, Occasionally, he may also come out for a while during this period.
2. There is a specialized queue for visiting Meng Lan in the square, you will enjoy 5mins for each visit.
3. Option in the middle front rows to get the best view of Meng Lan, where enabling better photography as she swings on the swing, climbs, and indulges in various eating scenes.
4. There’s a Panda Themed Store just nearby, where you could buy souvenirs like plush panda, stationery, fridge magnet and so on.
Notes for booking Beijing Zoo:
1. It’s required to book the ticket 1-7 days in advance, please plan your trip in advance to prevent any potential delays.
2. It's recommended to arrive at the zoo early in the morning, prioritize visiting the Panda as pandas are usually most active during this time and most animals rest at noon time.
3. It's best to avoid visiting during winter due to the cold weather, which may cause many animals to stay indoors (Pandas exceptional).
4. The South Gate is close to the Panda Hall, while the North Gate is near the Ocean World. The zoo pier is situated near the Ocean World, providing convenient access for boat rides directly to the Summer Palace.
5. Next to the Giraffe Hall, there's a children's playground where kids aged 6 and under can enjoy complimentary entry.
6. Please refrain from feeding the animals as it is strictly prohibited in all animal exhibition halls.
7. Additionally, the scenic area provides sightseeing vehicle(10CNY/ticket) for convenient exploration.
