Starting from Guilin, this itinerary combines the breathtaking karst landscapes of the Li River with countryside experiences around Yangshuo. A private vehicle and driver ensure smooth transfers between the city, cruise pier, and Yangshuo, making the journey comfortable and efficient - especially for travelers carrying luggage or planning to continue their trip in Yangshuo.

The service is flexible and suitable whether you plan to return to Guilin in the evening or stay overnight in Yangshuo or nearby towns.

Suggested One-Day Itinerary & Transfer Plan

Morning: Guilin → Mopanshan Pier → Li River Cruise

• Pick-up at Guilin hotel between 7:30 – 8:30 AM (exact time depends on cruise schedule)

• Transfer to Mopanshan Pier (approx. 40 minutes)

• Board the Li River cruise ship

• Enjoy a 4–5 hour scenic cruise along the Li River

During the cruise, your luggage can remain safely in the vehicle. The driver will transfer it to Yangshuo and meet you at the arrival pier.

Afternoon: Yangshuo Exploration

• Arrival in Yangshuo around early afternoon

• Explore Yangshuo town streets and local markets

• Optional countryside visit along the Yulong River

• Enjoy cycling, walking, or relaxing in cafés with mountain views

At the end of the afternoon, you may either return to Guilin or stay overnight in Yangshuo.

Evening Options (Optional)

Option 1 – Return to Guilin

• Scenic drive back to Guilin

• Drop-off at hotel

Option 2 – Evening Show in Yangshuo

• Watch the famous outdoor performance

This option is suitable if you plan to spend additional leisure days in Xingping and later travel independently to other destinations via Yangshuo railway station.

How to Meet the Driver

Departure Day:

• The driver will meet you in your Guilin hotel lobby with a name sign.

During the Trip:

• The driver will drop you off at the cruise pier and meet you again at the Yangshuo cruise terminal after your boat arrives.

• Your luggage will be transferred by the driver during the cruise.

Travel Tips for the Li River & Yangshuo

• Book Li River cruise tickets in advance during peak seasons.

• Bring sun protection for the cruise deck.

• Comfortable walking or cycling shoes are recommended.

• If you plan to watch the evening show (first run 19:30-20:50), prepare  a long day from early morning to late evening.
