Window of the World Shenzhen is a popular tourist attraction located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It is a theme park that showcases miniature replicas of famous landmarks, cultural sites, and architectural wonders from around the world. The park covers an area of approximately 480,000 square meters and offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore global landmarks in a single location.

 

Opened on June 18, 1994, Window of the World features over 100 replicas of iconic structures and landscapes from various countries. These include renowned landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, the Sydney Opera House, the Egyptian Pyramids, and many more. Each replica is meticulously crafted to capture the essence and architectural details of the original, providing visitors with a sense of traveling the world in a day.

 

The park is divided into themed zones, representing different regions and continents, such as Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and Oceania. Within each zone, visitors can explore attractions, enjoy cultural performances, and learn about the history, art, and traditions of the respective regions.

Shenzhen Window of the World travel tips

1.  Half-price Ticket: Seniors aged 65-69; Children between 1.2 meters and 1.5 meters in height.

2.  Free Ticket: Seniors aged 70 and above; Children below 1.2 meters in height.

3.  Shenzhen Metro lines 1 and 2 have stops right at Window of the World (世界之窗).

4.  When traveling to Shenzhen from Hong Kong, there are various transportation options available. The most convenient option is to take a high-speed train from West Kowloon Station to either Shenzhen North or Shenzhen Futian Station. It is important to have a valid China visa as immigration checks are conducted at the Hong Kong Port of West Kowloon Station.

5.  Can I visit Shenzhen without a visa? Yes, you can! There is a visa on arrival option for tourists visiting Shenzhen (Economic Special Zone Tourist Visa). Please note that only private transfers (Hong Kong to Shenzhen Private Transfer) or ferry rides can take you to the ports in Shenzhen.
