Splendid China and Folk Culture Village is a renowned cultural theme park in China, consisting of two main sections: Splendid China and Folk Culture Village. The Miniature Scenic Area in Splendid China offers a unique opportunity to "step into history and explore China in a day." It features 82 attractions, including famous landmarks like the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Potala Palace, Jiayuguan Pass, Mogao Grottoes, and Leshan Giant Buddha. These attractions are meticulously replicated in a 1:15 scale, accurately representing their geographical locations on the map of China. The Folk Culture Village features cultural performances, folk dances, traditional art forms and architectural styles from various ethnic groups in China. Splendid China and Folk Culture Village Travel tips

1.  Due to the park's extensive size, it is recommended to plan your schedule ahead of time. I recommend beginning your visit with the miniature landscapes, which typically takes around 1-2 hours. Following that, you can continue your exploration at the folk village. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to engage in various activities and witness captivating performances.

2.  Strongly recommended shows: At 15:00, "Legend of the Desert" offers explosive war scenes and thrilling horseback performances, lasting around 30 minutes. At 17:00 in the Impression China Theater, "Oriental Splendor" presents a captivating one-hour performance showcasing the rich history of Chinese ethnic costumes. Actors in magnificent attire gracefully depict a splendid celebration of Chinese culture.
Please note: No shows on Mondays, and admission is free from Tuesday to Friday.      

3. Can I visit Shenzhen without a visa? Yes, you can! There is a visa on arrival option for tourists visiting Shenzhen (Economic Special Zone Tourist Visa). Please note that only private transfers (Hong Kong to Shenzhen Private Transfer) or ferry rides can take you to the ports in Shenzhen.

4. When traveling to Shenzhen from Hong Kong, there are various transportation options available. The most convenient option is to take a high-speed train from West Kowloon Station to either Shenzhen North or Shenzhen Futian Station. It is important to have a valid China visa as immigration checks are conducted at the Hong Kong Port of West Kowloon Station.

5. How to get to Splendid China by local transport?

Take bus number 26, 32, 21, 54, 245, 113, or other buses to He Xiangning Art Museum Station(何香凝美术馆), then walk for about 150 meters to reach the destination.

Subway Take the Luobao Line (罗宝线) and get off at Huaqiaocheng Station(华侨城). Take Exit B1 or D and walk for about 200 meters to reach the destination.
