If you're based in Hong Kong and planning a day trip to Shenzhen, renting a private car with a driver is a convenient and comfortable option. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours, including immigration procedures at the border.

To fully enjoy your sightseeing experience in Shenzhen, we recommend booking a 10–12-hour service.

What is the Arrangement?

• Pick-up at your hotel in Hong Kong

• Cross the border into Shenzhen via Shenzhen Bay or Huanggang Port. After completing immigration procedures, enjoy sightseeing in Shenzhen for 7–10 hours depending on your chosen itinerary

• Return transfer to your hotel in Hong Kong

How is Car Rental Charged?

Car rental is charged by the hour. Considering both the round-trip transfer and sightseeing time in Shenzhen, we offer packages with minimum rental durations of 8, 10, or 12 hours.

Any additional time beyond the reserved rental period will be charged hourly (with any part of an hour counted as a full hour).

If you plan to end your tour in Shenzhen (without returning to Hong Kong), the price will be slightly lower.

Do the Drivers Speak English?

Our drivers are native Chinese speakers and also speak Cantonese. If you require an English-speaking driver, please book in advance to ensure availability.

What type of vehicle is provided?

Toyota Alphard (7-seater, cross-border vehicle)

What is the Visa Policy?

Shenzhen is located in Mainland China. When entering from Hong Kong, a China visa is required.
Exceptions include those eligible for visa-free entry or those applying for the Shenzhen Economic Zone Tourist Visa, which is available to many international travelers. Please check current visa policies based on your nationality before your trip.

How is the Immigration Process?

Immigration is usually efficient and smooth, taking approximately 20 minutes on regular days.

• The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the immigration building

• You will go through immigration on your own, bringing your luggage with you

• The driver and vehicle will go through separate inspection procedures and will meet you at the exit on the other      side
