Travel Route: Hong Kong → Macau → Hong Kong

If you use Hong Kong as your base and plan a day trip to Macau, renting a private car with a driver is an excellent choice. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your hotel location in Hong Kong, as you pass over the mega bridge. For a more enjoyable sightseeing experience in Macau, it is advisable to choose a 10–12-hour service.
How is the trip arranged?
Hotel Pick-up: The driver will collect you from your hotel in Hong Kong.
Drive to Macau: Travel via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge and complete immigration at the Macau Port (approx. 1.5–2 hours).
Sightseeing in Macau: Enjoy up to 6 hours of sightseeing in Macau (within a 10-hour car rental service).
Return to Hong Kong: Head back to the Macau Port, clear immigration again, and continue the drive to your Hong Kong hotel (approx. 1.5–2 hours).
How is car rental charged?
Car rental prices are charged by the hour. Considering the round-trip transfer and sightseeing hours in Macau, we provide them with the minimum rental periods being 8 hours or 10 hours.
Any time beyond the planned rental period is billed by the hour (with any part of an hour being charged as a full hour).
If you end your tour in Macau, the price is cheaper.
Do the drivers speak English?
The price includes a Chinese-speaking driver (Mandarin/Cantonese).
If you require an English-speaking driver, please book early. An additional fee of $15 per hour applies.
What's the Difference Between a Changing Car and a Through Car?
Changing Cars:
Involves switching from a Hong Kong vehicle to a Macau vehicle at a designated parking lot near the Macau Port. The two drivers coordinate to ensure a smooth transfer. This process takes about 10 extra minutes but significantly reduces the overall cost.
Through Cars:
Use the same vehicle for the entire journey between Hong Kong and Macau. Although passengers (except Local ID holders) still need to get off at the Macau Port for immigration, the car remains the same throughout. This option is more expensive due to the rare "three-plate" cross-border license.
