Wuxi Braised Pork Ribs:
The city's signature dish - dark red in color, tender, and sweet-savory in flavor.

Getting In & Out of Wuxi


By Air: Sunan Shuofang International Airport (WUX) is the main airport, with flights to Osaka, Seoul/Incheon, Jeju, Bangkok, Singapore, and Nha Trang, plus extensive domestic connections.


By Train: Wuxi Railway Station (city center) and Wuxi East Station are key high-speed rail hubs.

    • Shanghai: 30–50 minutes

    • Nanjing: 1–1.5 hours

Best Time to Visit Wuxi


Spring (late March–May) and Autumn (September–November)


Spring: The most beautiful time of year, with cherry blossoms at Yuantouzhu and peach blossoms at Liyuan in full bloom.


Autumn: Clear skies and pleasant temperatures, perfect for outdoor sightseeing and enjoying fresh Taihu Lake seafood.


Summer: Hot and rainy, but lotus flowers are in bloom. Evening canal night cruises offer a cooler, relaxing experience.
