Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Tibet is one of the Provinces in China. But all Tibetans have their own religions of Tibet Buddhist. So we share the same but at the same time respect their own customs. When it comes to the visit of Tibet: a China Visa issued by Chinese Embassy is required. Under this condition, an additional Tibet Permit issued by Tibet Travel Bureau (provincial level) is also required. And both files are supposed to be represented whether taking train, bus, private transfer or flight into Tibet.
