Best Time to Visit Qingdao

The best period is May to October. Summer (June–August) is mild and ideal for beaches and outdoor life, while autumn (September–October) offers clear skies, fresh seafood, and beautiful scenery. Spring (April–May) brings cherry blossoms, and winter is quiet with a peaceful seaside charm.
Festival tip: The Qingdao International Beer Festival runs from late July to mid-August—book accommodation early.

Suggested Itineraries

Classic 3-Day Mountain & Sea Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Qingdao. Walk along Zhanqiao Pier, visit Xiaoqingdao Park, St. Michael's Cathedral, and the former Governor's Residence. End the day with sunset views from Signal Hill Park.

Day 2: Explore Badaguan Scenic Area and relax at Second Bathing Beach. In the afternoon, visit the Tsingtao Beer Museum. Evening food hunt at Taidong Night Market.

Day 3: Morning at Xiaoyushan Park or the famous University Road "Internet-famous wall."  Afternoon at May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. Enjoy the light show from Third Bathing Beach before departure.
