Kangding, also known as Dardo, is a city located in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in west Sichuan province. It is located at the throat of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, on the eastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau. Kangding is known for its stunning natural scenery, including snow-capped mountains, deep gorges, and rushing rivers. This beautiful land is inhabited by multiple ethnic groups and religious sects, with Tibetan Buddhism as the main religion. There are 35 religion sites in the county, including Catholic Church, Christian Church, and Islam Mosque. Kangbing is accessible by flight, bus, and private transfer.
