Yinchuan introduction

Yinchuan is the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwestern China. It is located on the banks of the Yellow River, surrounded by the fertile Ningxia Plain and the majestic Helan Mountains. Thus make the city known as the "Jiangnan on the Frontier", a well-known phrase in China that describes a region with a southern charm in a northern location. With a long history over 2,100 years, Yinchuan is a city with a rich cultural heritage and diverse ethnic groups, particularly the Hui minority. Now Yinchuan has been an important node city of the "Belt and Road" initiative and an important window for China's westward opening-up. It is the permanent venue for the China-Arab States Expo. Many airlines operate frequent flights from Arab countries that make your China-middle east trip easy. Major attractions of Yinchuan include the mausoleums of the Western Xia, rock carvings in the Helanshan Mountains, the Yellow River and 108 stupas in Qingtongxia are important sites.
