Hong Kong introduction

Hong Kong (HK), officially known as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, stands as the world's third-largest financial hub, often mentioned alongside New York and London as part of the 'Nylonkong' trio. It holds titles such as the 'Pearl of the Orient,' 'Gastronomic Paradise,' and 'Shopping Paradise.' Located in southern China, east of the Pearl River Estuary and along the South China Sea coast, Hong Kong shares its northern border with Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. To the west lies the Pearl River, with Macau Special Administrative Region, Zhuhai City, and Zhongshan City visible across the Pearl River Estuary. The region is composed of three main areas: Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula, and the New Territories.
