Fenghuang introduction

The ancient city of Fenghuang (means phoenix) was built during the Qing dynasty and got its name from a mountain in the southwest that resembled a flying phoenix. There are four towers in the four directions of the center, south, west and north of the city. Dongzheng Street is the central hub of the ancient city. The inner streets of the old city are vertical and horizontal, you can walk wherever you want to go. Fenghuang is the "most beautiful city in China" described by New Zealand writer Louis Ale and the "Painting Village" by painter Huang Yongyu. It is comparable to the ancient city of Lijiang in Yunnan and the ancient city of Pingyao in Shanxi. It is an ideal town to relax, paint and photograph.
