About

Daocheng introduction

Daocheng is a beautiful county in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan province. The city was first presented to the outside of the world by the famous American adventurer Joseph Rocher who published his article and Daocheng photographers in National Geographic after his trip. The now-capped mountains, vast grasslands, and crystal-clear lakes, give it a reputation as the "last pure land on the planet". The main attractions in Daocheng are the Yading Nature Reserve and the Tagong Grassland. Yading is home to three sacred mountains, which are popular among hikers and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The Tagong Grassland is a vast expanse of greenery, dotted with Tibetan villages and monasteries, and is a great place to explore on horseback or by foot. For nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, do come here once a lifetime.
