Fuzhou Travel Guide

Fuzhou: A Fortunate Min Capital, Where Mountains Meet the Sea Welcome to Fuzhou. Known as the "City of Banyans," Fuzhou is more than lush greenery and historic landmarks like the famed "Three Hills and Two Pagodas." It is widely called a "fortunate city" - a place that blends over 2,200 years of Min cultural heritage, gentle coastal and mountain landscapes, and the enterprising spirit often summed up as ai pin gan ying (dare to strive, dare to win). Today, Fuzhou is steadily drawing growing international attention. As the capital of Fujian Province, Fuzhou has long been a key starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. In the present day, its unique mix of traditional Min-style charm and an increasingly global outlook has shaped it into a relaxed yet dynamic coastal city, where history and modern life coexist naturally - ideal for travelers seeking culture, scenery, and a slower pace of discovery.
