Beijing is the capital of People's Republic of China with very convenient flight connections to all the major cities in the world. If arrival by international flight, you will be landing at Beijing Capital Airport.

Guide will hold a name sign out of luggage claim area. Then transfer you to hotel to check in. Recover from flight journey and prepare for the trip.

Full day visit of Beijing city

Activities: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutong Tour in Xicheng District, Jingshan Park (Coal Hill)

Start the tour from Tiananmen Square, the largest public city square in the world with a total area of 440,000 square meters. Standing on its four sides are the Forbidden City, Memorial Hall, Monument and Capital and National Museum. Then you will enter the Forbidden City through the south gate facing the square. Built from 1406 to 1420, Forbiden city is located in the the city center, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. Exit from the north gate, drop a short visit to the Jingshan Park which is adjacent the Forbidden City covering 23 hectares (57 acres). It once was the royal garden in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty and offers nice panorama view of Forbidden City.

Sightseeing in the afternoon also includes Hutong Tour in Xicheng District. Hutong has long history dating back from the Yuan dynasty. It witness the change and develop of Beijing and showcase the normal life of the city. More than 20 alleys are well preserved in the development of modernization.

Visit the Jinshan Park to get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City. It is well worth the climb on a clear day for spectacular views of the Forbidden City and Beijing

Activities: Temple of Heaven, the Mutianyu Great Wall

Pay a morning visit to Temple of Heaven, which was built for worship purpose. Another UNESCO –listed site today is the thrilling Great Wall of China. We choose the Mutianyu section, 70km northeastwards of Beijing City, which has well preserved from its original appearance. The 2250 meters wall has unique characters like the watch towers, and offers breath-taking scenery from the top. Visitor's facilities are well developed well.

Spend some more time discovering Beijing. Summer Palace is the best preserved imperial garden in the world, and the largest of its kind in existence of China. The Palace is an amazing complex of buildings, which serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. You can also view the beautiful scenery of the lake by the ferry boat instead of walk. Continue; you will discover The Garden of Virtue and Harmony (Deheyuan), the best preserved and largest palace theater extant in China, where Emperor Guangxu and Empress Dowager Cixi watched performances of the Peking opera. This garden has one of the three most famous opera theaters of the Qing Dynasty. In summer days, a boat ride gives very special feeling of this former royal garden.

Beijing Olympic Green: The Olympic Green was constructed for the 2008 Olympic Games, and was turned into a park after the Game. The notable architectures - Water Cube and Bird Nest situate in the park.

Guide pick up you in your hotel and accompany to visit Pingyao Ancient Town which is one of the four best-preserved ancient towns in China. Inside the intact Ming Dynasty city wall, there are exceptionally well-preserved buildings built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties centuries ago. You can either walk or rent a bike to see around. You can also learn the traditional Chinese art of paper cutting and watch the producing process of laquerware, and many other traditional handicrafts as well. In the evening, the town is especially beautiful with the red lanterns on, and it is very relaxing to sit and chat in one of the numerous bars.

The Mingqing Street: Mingqing Street is the South Avenue of Pingyao Ancient Town. Over 100 shops, restaurants and bars line on this 800-meter-long ancient street. You can buy souvenirs and enjoy local life, or learn some ancient techniques of making handicrafts there.

Armed Escort Company Museum: The museum is covering an area of over 2,000 square meters, the museum’s exhibitions introduce the emergence, development, management and operation of this ancient business, and how it played a significant role in promoting commerce.

The Ancient City Wall: The Ancient City Wall of Pingyao was constructed nearly 3,000 years ago, and at present it still keeps the original appearance of the city wall renovated in the early Ming Dynasty which is several hundred years ago. The contruction method is simply but delicate. Its circumference is about 6,163 meters, with a height at 6 to 10 meters. There are 6 city gates, every day local people and tourists go in and out of the ancient town via the city gates.

Visit Muslim Street. The Muslim quarters lies 100 meters west of the Bell tower in downtown Xi'an. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stall, souvenir shop, cafe and bars which are mostly run by Muslim people. Tourists, especially from overseas come and shop here.

Experience ride bicycle in City Wall: The City Wall once was the fortification encircles the old Xian City. It is considered as a landmark of Xian and one of the top sights for visitors. When ascending to the top, you can have great view of the old inner city and the modern outer city. It is even better to experience a bike ride for extra miles on the wall when weather permits.

In the morning, you will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses which is a large number of underground army buried 2km in front of the Emperor Qinshihuang's Tomb in east of Xian. A museum was set up on site and opened to the public in 1979. Visitors can view 1,868 unearthed terracotta warriors and chariots that have been restored to their former glory as well as a digging site where the craftsman restoring the broken pieces.

Have lunch in A Wa Shan Zhai Restaurant (Qinling Branch): A Wa Shan Zhai Restaurant was established in 2004, mainly specializes in Hunan and Sichuan cuisine. It provides delicacy by using the material from Shanxi, obtaining a nationwide reputation from customers. It would be a nice choice to dine while traveling the nearby Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses.

The temple is shrouded in legend and mystery. The origin of martial arts and kung fu is part of the mystique of Shaolin Temple and the Shaolin monks. This is probably the most famous temple in China, not only because of its long history and its role in Chinese Buddhism, but also because of its martial arts or Wushu. There is a theatre here which presents the famous Kungfu Show at 0930, 1030, 1130, 1400, 1500, and1600. It's best to get there early, as it is only a small theatre with about 200 seats.

Then visit White Horse Temple which is backed by Mangshan Mountain and facing the Luohe River and lies about 20 kilometers to the east of Luoyang city, Henan province. White Horse Temple was ever since regarded as the cradle land of Buddhism in China. In history, highly accomplished Buddhist monks from China, even world renowned Buddhist monks from abroad used to pay visits to White Horse Temple in pursuit of Buddhism inspirations and wisdom; it was thereby also called the 'Home of Sakyamuni' or the 'Court for Ancestors'.
