If time permits, you can take a short hike to the Jingshan Park which offers a great bird view of the Forbidden City.
Continue your trip in the afternoon to Hutong area that exemplifies real life of ordinary people in Beijing. You can take a rickshaw tour to navigate Hutong and stop anywhere to take photos.

Designed to keep Mongol nomads out of China, the Great Wall of China was a large construction thousands of years ago. It is not a continuous wall but several collections, among which, the Great Wall around Beijing has good protection and restoration.

To full fill the day, you will visit another landmark of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven - a complex of religious building built in 1420 for the emperors to make sacrificial ceremonies and praying for harvests.

Finish a morning visit to the Summer Palace which is widely regarded as the best preserved and the largest imperial gardens in China and one of Beijing's premier attractions, then take bullet train from Beijing to Qingdao.
On arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at train station. Later check in your hotel and enjoy free evening.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Qingdao is a major seaport, naval base, and industrial center of China. In addition to the parks, beaches, and sculpture, there are unique German and modern architecture lined the shore that built during the German colonial period.
You will have a full day to travel along the shore and visit Zhan Zhanqiao Pier, No1 Bathing Beach and Badaguan Passes.
