Beijing – Great Wall visit

Before heading to the famous section of Great Wall - Mutianyu Great Wall, join the locals for fun to fly kites at the Temple of Heaven if weather permit. Listed as one of the world's heritage sites, the Temple of Heaven is also a must-see attraction in Beijing with a complex of religious buildings.

Mutianyu section of the Wall is 70km northeast of downtown Beijing, a bit further than the most popular Badaling section. It is less crowded and the view is spectacular. The wall is well preserved and restored with rails at the steep points. Other facilities like cable car and toboggan are also available. For many people, walking up the seemingly endless stairs to the top is also a great experience.
